Silentium is a special mineral resource in Aion 2 that you feed into Supply Requests for Abyss Points. It is a bound item, so it cannot be traded or sold on the Market, and every account builds its own stockpile by running content rather than buying it from other players.

Quick answer: Clear Expeditions, Transcendence dungeons, and the Abyssal Forge: Ludra raid, or open Hidden Cubes, then hand the Silentium in at the Abyss Supply Request board for Abyss Points instead of selling it.

How much Silentium each source gives

Every end-of-run reward chest in the right content hands you a fixed amount of Silentium. The harder the mode, the larger the payout.

Silentium also arrives from the battle pass and from a handful of Ascension Trial achievements. The Tribulation of Aponos and Tribulation of Duduri and Dodori achievements grant 15 each at their top tier, while the weekly Hatched Bird achievement grants 4.

Running Expeditions and Transcendence dungeons

Expeditions are 1-5 player dungeons that open up as you level and meet each one’s gear score requirement. They unlock at level 22. Every Expedition ends with a reward you claim, and that reward always includes Silentium. Exploration runs pay out 4, and the tougher Conquest runs pay out 7.

Transcendence encounters work the same way but hit harder, with stronger bosses and higher gear score gates. They unlock at level 45, and each clear returns 10 Silentium. Dungeons such as Deus Research Base and Shattered Arkanis run on Transcendence, while Krao Cave, Urugugu Canyon, Fire Temple, Draupnir, Vakron Sky Island, and Ferocious Horn Den appear on the Exploration and Conquest rotations.

Nightmare mode bosses such as Enraged Reda and arena-style raids such as Fafnite Forge do not drop Silentium, so running them for this resource is wasted effort.

Finding Hidden Cubes in the overworld

Hidden Cubes are rare chests scattered across the open world. Opening one with a Hidden Cube Key (Bound) yields 10 guaranteed Silentium on top of its other rewards, which makes them worth grabbing whenever you can find one.

Locating them takes patience. There are well over a thousand possible spawn points, but only around 200 exist in the world at any moment, and claiming one moves it to a fresh spot elsewhere. Hidden Cubes are not pinned on the map, so you find them by camping known locations, running into them by chance, or listening for the chime that plays when one is close, the same audio cue used for Empyrean Trace Feathers.

Turning Silentium in for Abyss Points

The reason to hoard Silentium is the Abyss Supply Request board. Supply Requests are collection tasks that ask you to deliver specific items in return for rewards, and one recurring request wants Silentium in exchange for Abyss Points and Enhance Stones. Reserve your stockpile for this task, because it is by far the most valuable thing you can do with the resource.

Open the Escape menu and go to the Abyss Supply Request interface.
Check the Emergency and Weekly tabs for a request that lists Silentium.
Select the maximum quantity and deliver it. The rewards drop straight into your account once the request registers.

The Silentium request does not appear on every board refresh. If it is missing, hold your Silentium and wait for the daily and weekly resets, which cycle the available tasks.

Selling Silentium for Kina

Any NPC merchant will buy Silentium for 5,000 Kina each. It works, but it is the weaker option. The money comes back as Bound Kina, which cannot be spent on the Market, so you give up the Abyss Points a Supply Request would have paid.

Keep your Silentium stacked until the board offers the request. You will know a turn-in landed when the quantity leaves your inventory and the Abyss Points and Enhance Stones show up in your account, and a merchant sale simply replaces the stack with Bound Kina on the spot.
