Daevanion Points fuel the five Daevanion boards in AION 2, where you spend them on stat nodes and extra skill levels. The points themselves arrive as a currency called Daevanion Crystal, and each crystal you consume grants one point. The quickest way to build a pile of them is to collect every crystal the world hands out while you level, then top up from a few shops once you hit the cap.
Quick answer: Leveling gives 4 Daevanion Points per level from level 12. On top of that, clear sealed dungeons (2 crystals each), finish regional quests (1 each), and buy extra from the Nightmare and Shugo Festival shops.
What Daevanion Crystals do
A Daevanion Crystal (Bound) is a usable item with the in-game effect of granting one Daevanion Point when consumed. It unlocks at character level 10, stacks up to 1,000, and cannot be traded. You spend the resulting points on board nodes, which feed directly into your Combat Score and Item Level.
There is more than one kind of crystal, and they are not interchangeable. The standard crystal pays for the four PvE boards, while the Ariel and Azphel variants each have their own point pools and their own board.
| Crystal | Required level | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | Sealed dungeons, regional quests, shops | |
| 45 | Shop (800 Phantasmal Fragment), battle pass | |
| 45 | Shop (10,000 Abyss Points), monolith |

Every level from 12 onward adds 4 Daevanion Points, with no action needed beyond gaining the level. By the time you reach the cap of 45, leveling alone has given you 136 points. This is a steady baseline that runs in the background while you play the story.
| Level reached | Total Daevanion Points from leveling |
|---|---|
| 12 | 4 |
| 20 | 36 |
| 30 | 76 |
| 40 | 116 |
| 45 | 136 |
Clear sealed dungeons for 2 crystals each
Sealed dungeons are small instances scattered across the field maps, marked by circle or spiral icons on the exploration map. Clearing one pays out 2 Daevanion Crystal (Bound) every time, along with Wisdom Stones, a title, and Enhance Stones. Because the reward is fixed per dungeon rather than farmable on repeat, the goal is simple: find and clear every one you come across.
The Elyos homeland of Verteron holds a full set of these, spread across the level range you pass through on the way to the cap. The table below lists them with their recommended levels so you can route them into your climb.
| Sealed dungeon (Verteron) | Recommended level | Daevanion Crystals |
|---|---|---|
| Poacher’s Den | 10 | 2 |
| Mysterious Mushroom Cave | 10 | 2 |
| Cave of the Desperate | 10 | 2 |
| Spirit Flower Cave | 15 | 2 |
| Cursed Hideout | 15 | 2 |
| Filth Pit | 15 | 2 |
| Corrupted Spiritmaster’s Residence | 15 | 2 |
| Fortress Jail | 20 | 2 |
| Distorted Cave | 20 | 2 |
| Karat’s Nest | 20 | 2 |
| Hidden Valley | 25 | 2 |
| Guardian’s Armory | 30 | 2 |
| Cave of the Defeated | 35 | 2 |
| Illusionary Ruins | 40 | 2 |
| Dehinon’s Hideout | 40 | 2 |
Undiscovered sealed dungeons show up as question marks on the map, so sweeping those before you leave an area makes sure you do not skip any crystals.
Regional quests
Regional quests are side quests tied to one area of your homeland, and a Daevanion Crystal (Bound) is a standard reward for nearly all of them. Each faction has 58 of these, recommended from level 12 up to 45, so working through them while you level stacks up a large share of your early points. Open the Journal with the J key to track which ones are available in your current area.
Most pay one crystal per quest, and a handful of multi-part quests hand out two. They become available in an area once you finish that area’s episode, so follow the main story first and clean up the regional quests as they open.
Buy crystals from shops
Once you have collected what the field offers, two shops sell Daevanion Crystal (Bound) outright. These give you a way to keep earning points after the quest and dungeon pool runs dry.
Nightmare Trade Shop
Open the Nightmare menu and go to the Trade Shop’s Growth section. Daevanion Crystal (Bound) costs 300 currency each there, with a limit of 50 per character. That is a large, one-time block of points once you can afford it.

Shugo Festival Shop
In the Shugo Festival Shop, the Consumables tab stocks Daevanion Crystal (Bound) for 50 Century Root Tokens each. The purchase count resets monthly and is capped at 15 per character, so check back each month to claim the full allotment.

A coin shop also lists the crystal at 20 Shugo Coin apiece. For the Azphel PvP board, the separate Azphel crystal is sold for 10,000 Abyss Points and appears in monolith rewards, so that pool is paid for by playing PvP rather than by the methods above.
Turn crystals into points
Crystals do nothing until you consume them. Open your inventory, select Daevanion Crystal (Bound), and use it. You can select several at once and use them in bulk, which is the fastest way to convert a full stack into points before spending.

You will know it worked when the Daevanion window shows a higher available point total, matching the number of crystals you just used. Spend those points by opening the Daevanion menu with the U key and buying nodes that touch something you already own. If you change your mind, a node can be refunded for 500 Kinah.
