The Balaur Dispatch Combatant is a level 44 Normal-rank creature in the open world of AION 2, and it does not attack on sight, so you can pick your fights. On the Asmodian side it lives in Altgard, where all 28 marked spots sit in Impetusium Square. With every one of them packed into that single area, Impetusium Square is the only place you need to go, and you can move from one to the next without crossing the region.

To get there, teleport to the Collapsed Hall of Fame statue and walk about 160 m to the square. Most players come for quests: Lingering Apparitions, an Episode quest, needs 5 kills and pays 77,073,036 XP along with Liberator Pauldrons; Putting a Friend to Rest asks for 15 and awards the Daditude title; Standing Guard needs 20 for 1,000 Abyss Points; and the repeatable Festival Preparations: Impetusium III also asks for 20. Drops are a slow side benefit, with Refining Stone and Soft Balaur Meat each at 0.65%, Phantasm gloves, boots and cloak at 0.27%, and Expert's Refining Stone at 0.16%.
