Attacks on sightYes

The Black Spirit is a hostile creature of the open world that attacks on sight, appearing at levels 10–82 in both Normal and Elite ranks. On the Asmodian side, every one of its 18 marked spots in Altgard sits in Impetusium Square, so that single area is where to go when you need to find one.

Areas with Black Spirit

Area	Level	Spawn points
Impetusium Square	—	18

The nearest teleport statue is Collapsed Hall of Fame, about 270 m from Impetusium Square. Each kill guarantees a Soul: Black Spirit (Bound), with a 3.9% chance at a Spiritstone and 0.65% at a Refining Stone. Rarer drops include Phantasm Gloves, Boots and Cloak at 0.27% each, an Expert's Refining Stone at 0.16% and Luminous Gloves at 0.08%. Two Duty quests send you here as well: Ghosts of the Past asks for 20 kills and pays Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000, while the repeatable Festival Preparations: Impetusium II needs 15.
