The Burning Ember Spirit is a level 27, Normal-rank creature in the open world of Altgard, on the Asmodian side, and it attacks on sight. All 25 of its marked spots are in Purifying Forest, so that is the area to head for. With every spawn in one place, you can clear them in a steady loop without moving between zones.

Teleport to the Purifying Forest Sunny Hill statue, then walk about 190 m to reach them. Every kill drops a Soul: Lesser Fire Spirit (Bound). Spiritstone drops at 3.9%, Refining Stone at 0.65% and Expert's Refining Stone at 0.16%. Phantasm gear also drops at between 0.13% and 0.27%, depending on the piece, and Chaos Gloves at 0.10%. Three Duty quests send you here as well. Obtain Fire Fragments asks for 20 kills and pays Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000. The repeatable Festival Preparations: Purifying Forest IV also needs 20, and the repeatable Purifying Forest: Purify the Fire Altar needs 25 for Abyss Points x1,000.
