The Canyon Skyray is a level 33 Normal creature found in the open world of AION 2, and it won't attack on sight, so you can pick your fights. On the Elyos side it appears only in Verteron, where all 5 of its marked spots sit in Altamia Canyon. With every spawn packed into that single area, Altamia Canyon is the one place to go when you need Skyrays.

The closest teleport statue is Canyon Campsite, about 150 m from the spawns. Every Skyray drops its Soul: Skyray (Bound), and Spiritstone comes up at 3.9%, while Refining Stone drops at 0.65% and Expert's Refining Stone at 0.16%. Pieces of the Riverside set also turn up, with the gloves, boots and cloak each at 0.27%. Two quests send you here: the duty A Life of Hunger asks for 20 kills and pays Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000, and the repeatable duty Festival Preparations: Altamia Canyon I needs 10.
