The Canyon Vine Spirit is a level 33 Normal-rank creature in the open world of AION 2, and it attacks on sight, so expect it to come at you as soon as you get close. On the Elyos side it lives in Verteron, where all 23 of its marked spots sit in Altamia Canyon. With every spawn packed into that one area, the canyon is the only place you need to go to hunt it.

The nearest teleport statue is Canyon Campsite, about 130 m from the spawns, which makes for a short walk. Every kill gives you Soul: Forest Specter (Bound), and you may also pick up Fresh Fruit at 4.9%, Spiritstone at 3.9% and Refining Stone at 0.65%. Riverside armour pieces drop at between 0.13% and 0.27%, and Expert's Refining Stone, a Rare item, drops at 0.16%. Two Duty quests send you here. Safe Hiking asks for 20 kills and rewards Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000. The repeatable Festival Preparations: Altamia Canyon II asks for 15.
