The Deserter Daeva Assassin is a level 40 Normal-rank creature found in the open world of Verteron, on the Elyos side. It does not attack on sight, so you can pick your fights rather than having them forced on you. All 39 marked spots in Verteron sit in Kraka Footpath, which makes that area the only place to go when you want to hunt them.

The nearest teleport statue is at Notos Legion Outpost, about 110 m from Kraka Footpath, so the walk in is short. Two quests send you here: …And Justice for All, a Duty that needs 20 kills and rewards Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000, and Festival Preparations: Kraka Hill I, a repeatable Duty that needs 10. Drops are mostly Spiritstone at 3.9% and Refining Stone at 0.65%, with Riverside gear pieces between 0.13% and 0.27%. Rarer finds include Expert's Refining Stone at 0.16% and Comet Gloves and Comet Boots at 0.08% each.
