The Drakan Flying Scout is a Normal-rank creature of level 20–32 that roams the open world of Altgard on the Asmodian side. It won't attack on sight, so you can choose your pulls freely. There are 18 marked spots in total. Dranactus holds 9 of them and Tranein Pond 8, which makes those two areas the places to go. Tranein Highland has just 1.

Areas with Drakan Flying Scout

Area	Level	Spawn points
Dranactus	—	9
Tranein Pond	—	8
Tranein Highland	—	1

For Dranactus, teleport to the Hidden Cave statue and walk about 130 m. For Tranein Pond, use Watcher's Tent, which is about 170 m away. The lone Tranein Highland spot is about 260 m from the same statue. Drops are slim. Refining Stone and the Rare Soft Balaur Meat each sit at 0.65%, and pieces of Shade and Phantasm armour fall at between 0.21% and 0.32%. Quests are the stronger reason to make the trip. Crossroad, an Episode quest, needs 5 kills and pays 210,311 XP. The Duty quests Safe Passage and Defiance I need 20 kills each and Defiance II needs 25, with each paying Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000. The repeatable Festival Preparations duties for Tranein Highland and Dranactus II ask for 10 and 15 kills.
