The Drakan Guard Dog is a Normal-rank creature of level 32–43 that attacks on sight. It is posted to protect the site where the Nahid Brigade processes Drana into fuel. Elyos players will find it at Nahid Brigade Fortress in Verteron, where 20 marked spots make it the busier hunting ground. On the Asmodian side it turns up at Dranactus in Altgard, which has 6 marked spots.

For Nahid Brigade Fortress, teleport to the Nahid Disposal Plant statue and walk about 170 m. For Dranactus, use the Hidden Cave statue, about 130 m away. Every kill gives its bound Soul. Refining Stone and Soft Balaur Meat each drop at 0.65%, Expert's Refining Stone at 0.16%, and Riverside armour pieces at between 0.13% and 0.27%. Several duties also send you here. Weaken the Guard and Defiance I each ask for 20 kills and Defiance II for 25, and each pays 1,000 Abyss Points and 50,000 bound Kina. The repeatable Festival Preparations duties need 10 kills at Nahid Brigade Fortress or 15 at Dranactus.
