The Drakan Patrol Armed Beast is a level 40 Normal-rank creature that roams the open world and attacks on sight. In AION 2 it lives only on the Asmodian side, in Altgard, where all 14 of its marked spots sit within Eastern Gribade Highland. With every spawn gathered in that one area, there is no reason to search anywhere else, and anyone below level 40 should expect it to engage as soon as they come close.

Travel to the Amunta's Hideout teleport statue, then walk about 170 m to reach the spawns. Each kill guarantees the Soul: Drakan Guard Dog (Bound), while a Refining Stone and Soft Balaur Meat drop at 0.32% each. Phantasm armour pieces turn up at between 0.07% and 0.13%, an Expert's Refining Stone at 0.08% and Luminous Gloves at 0.04%. Most players come for the quests: the Duties Rising Tension and Supplies Retrieval each ask for 20 kills and pay Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000, and the repeatable Duty Festival Preparations: Eastern Gribade Highland II asks for 15.
