The Drakan Researcher is a Normal-rank creature in AION 2's open world. It is level 39–45 and attacks on sight. On the Elyos side it lives in Verteron, where all 11 of its marked spots are inside Nahid Brigade Fortress. That makes the fortress the only area you need to visit, and with every spawn in one place you can clear them in a single loop.

Teleport to the Nahid Disposal Plant statue, then walk about 370 m to reach the fortress. Two quests send you there, and each needs 20 kills. Unforgivable Experimentation is a Duty that rewards Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000. Festival Preparations: Nahid Brigade Fortress III is a repeatable Duty. Refining Stone and Soft Balaur Meat each drop at 0.65%, and Expert's Refining Stone drops at 0.16%. Pieces of Forgotten and Riverside gear drop at between 0.10% and 0.14%.
