The Ellun River Sylphen is a Normal-rank creature of level 14–18 that roams the open world of Verteron on the Elyos side. It does not attack on sight, so you can approach and pick your fights freely. Verteron holds 81 marked spots for it, and 70 of those sit in Ellun River Midstream, which makes that stretch of river the obvious place to hunt. Smaller pockets turn up in Contaminated Marsh with 9 spots, and single spots in Dundu's Rest and Ellun River Marsh.

For Ellun River Midstream, teleport to Hideout in Front of the Ruins and walk about 160 m. The same statue also serves Dundu's Rest, about 80 m away, while Contaminated Marsh is about 190 m from Marsh Outpost. Every kill gives a guaranteed Soul: Sylphen (Bound). Beyond that, Fresh Fruit drops at 1.2% and Spiritstone at 0.97%, with Refining Stone at 0.16%. Pieces of Forgotten gear, such as gloves, boots and cloaks at 0.08%, appear only rarely, and Rainy Forest Gloves, a Rare item, drop at 0.03%.
