The Eternal Moss Crab is a Normal-rank creature found in the open world of Verteron, on the Elyos side, at levels 46–49. It won't attack on sight, so you can pick your fights freely. There are 37 marked spots across two areas: 30 on Eternal Isle and 7 on Crimson Isle. Eternal Isle holds by far the larger share, which makes it the better place to farm in numbers.

Crimson Isle is the quicker trip, since the Crimson Isle Outpost teleport statue sits about 40 m from the crabs there. For Eternal Isle, the nearest statue is Aullaeu Village Sky Island, about 1880 m away, so expect a long walk. Every kill guarantees Soul: Potcrab (Bound) and Soul: Aberrant Potcrab (Bound). Beyond those, Spiritstone drops at 3.9% and Refining Stone at 0.65%, while the Rare Expert's Refining Stone comes in at 0.16%. Forgotten Gloves, Boots and Cloak each drop at 0.14%, with Forgotten Helm and Riverside Gloves, Boots and Cloak at 0.12%.
