The Faded Floater is a Normal-rank creature in the open world of AION 2, ranging from level 35–45. It does not attack on sight, so you can choose when to engage. On the Asmodian side it lives in Altgard, where all 20 of its marked spots sit in the Fafnite Deposit, which makes that area the only place to hunt it.
