The Flame Rock Spider is a level 27 Normal-rank creature found in the open world of AION 2, and it does not attack on sight. On the Asmodian side it lives only in Altgard, where all 93 marked spots sit in the Purifying Forest. With every spawn in that one area, the Purifying Forest is the only place to hunt it, and its passive nature lets you pick your pulls at your own pace.
Areas with Flame Rock Spider
| Area | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|

The nearest teleport statue is Faded Stump, about 210 m from the spiders. Each kill guarantees Soul: Unstable Spider (Bound), with Spiritstone at 3.9% and Refining Stone at 0.65%. Phantasm gear also drops at low rates, from the Gloves, Boots and Cloak at 0.27% each down to the Breastplate at 0.13%. Expert's Refining Stone (0.16%) and Chaos Gloves (0.10%) are rarer finds. Several quests send you here too: A Collective Effort needs 8 kills for 1,371,140 XP, Obtain Fire Fragments needs 20, and the repeatable Purifying Forest: Purify the Fire Altar needs 25 for Abyss Points x1,000.
