The Flat Potcrab is a level 33 Normal-rank creature in the open world of AION 2, and it won't attack you on sight. On the Elyos side it lives in Verteron, where all 14 of its marked spots are in Altamia Canyon, so that one area is the only place you need to go.

Teleport to the Canyon Campsite statue and walk about 140 m to reach the crabs. Every kill gives you Soul: Potcrab (Bound). Spiritstone drops at 3.9% and Refining Stone at 0.65%. Riverside pieces turn up at low rates, from 0.27% for the gloves, boots and cloak down to 0.13% for the breastplate. Expert's Refining Stone (0.16%) and Ethereal Gloves (0.10%) are Rare-grade drops. Two duties also send you here. A Life of Hunger asks for 20 kills and rewards Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000. The repeatable Festival Preparations: Altamia Canyon I asks for 10.
