The Gentle Meadow Zaif is a level 18 Normal creature in the open world of Verteron, on the Elyos side, and it will not attack you on sight. It appears at 39 marked spots across the region, but 36 of them sit along Ellun River Midstream. Only 3 are at Miros Post, so the river is where you will find them in numbers and can work through several without moving far.

For either area, teleport to the Ruin Exploration Campsite statue. Ellun River Midstream is about 160 m from it, and Miros Post is closer at about 120 m. The regional quest No Good Deed… asks for 5 kills and pays 4,044,724 XP, Kina (Bound) x100,000, Wisdom Stone (Bound) x1, Daevanion Crystal (Bound) x1 and the title Balance Restored. Common drops include Fresh Raw Meat at 4.9%, Raw Leather at 3.9% and Refining Stone at 0.65%. Forgotten armour pieces drop at between 0.16% and 0.32%, and the Rare Rainy Forest Gloves and Rainy Forest Boots drop at 0.12% each.
