The Giant Ore Insectoid is a level 35 Normal-rank creature in AION 2's open world, and it attacks on sight, so expect it to come at you as soon as you get close. On the Asmodian side, all 115 of its marked spots in Altgard sit in a single area, the Fafnite Deposit. That concentration makes the Deposit the only place you need to go, and a dense one to work through if you are farming kills.

The nearest teleport statue is at Steel Hammer Workcamp, about 210 m from the Deposit. Every kill gives Soul: Swarm (Bound), while Raw Leather drops at 1.9% and Refining Stone at 0.32%. Rarer finds include Expert's Refining Stone at 0.08%, Phantasm armour pieces at between 0.07% and 0.13%, and Luminous Gloves at 0.04%. Several quests send you here as well. Workplace Misunderstanding is a regional quest that asks for 15 kills and pays 3,936,438 XP, 100,000 Kina (Bound) and the title Didn't Read the Fine Print. Pest Control and Tool Retrieval each ask for 20 kills, and Festival Preparations: Fafnite Deposit II is a repeatable duty that asks for 15.
