The Hard Kalgolem is a level 10 Normal-rank creature in the open world of AION 2, and it won't attack on sight, so you can pick your fights at your own pace. On the Elyos side, every one of its 84 marked spots in Verteron sits in Western Cantas Valley, which makes that area the only place to hunt it and leaves plenty of targets in one stretch of ground.

Teleport to the Western Cantas Valley Camp statue and walk about 110 m to reach them. Each kill guarantees Soul: Kalgolem (Bound), with a 3.9% chance of a Spiritstone and 0.65% for a Refining Stone, while pieces of Forgotten gear such as the gloves, boots and cloak turn up at 0.32%. Two quests also send you here: the Episode quest Odyle Collection needs 2 kills and pays 29,717 XP, Kina (Bound) x5,000 and Key: Hidden Cube (Bound) x1, and the Duty Protect the Odyle Collector needs 20 kills for Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000.
