The Highland Sylphen is a Normal-rank creature that roams the open world of AION 2 at levels 13–46. It does not attack on sight, so you can choose when to engage. On the Elyos side it appears across Verteron at 101 marked spots, and Eastern Altamia Highland holds 81 of them. Western Altamia Highland has 11 and Western Cantas Valley has 9, so the eastern highland is the place to farm.

Teleport to Alert Observation Post and walk about 250 m to reach the eastern spawns. For the smaller groups, Zumion Statue is about 60 m from Western Altamia Highland, and Cantas Valley Sky Island is about 80 m from Western Cantas Valley. Every kill gives Soul: Sylphen (Bound), with Fresh Fruit at 4.9%, Spiritstone at 3.9% and Refining Stone at 0.65%. Gear drops are rare. Forgotten Gloves, Boots and Cloak drop at 0.32% each, Riverside Gloves, Boots and Cloak at 0.27%, and Forgotten Helm and Pauldrons at 0.25%.
