The Hill Ursus is a Normal-rank creature of level 36–39 that roams the open world and does not attack on sight. On the Elyos side it lives in Verteron, and all 50 of its spots there sit in Kraka Footpath, so the whole population is gathered in one area. Kraka Footpath is the only place you need to go. Because these creatures leave you alone until you strike first, you can choose your targets and work through them at your own pace.

The nearest teleport statue is Kraka Uphill Path, about 190 m from Kraka Footpath, which leaves a short walk once you arrive. Each Hill Ursus drops Soul: Ursus (Bound) every time. Fresh Raw Meat comes in at 4.9% and Raw Leather at 3.9%, with Refining Stone at 0.65% and the Rare Expert's Refining Stone at 0.16%. Riverside armour also turns up: Gloves, Boots and Cloak at 0.27%, Helm and Pauldrons at 0.21%, Greaves at 0.18% and Breastplate at 0.13%.
