Hill Young Ursus is a Normal-rank creature in the open world of AION 2, sitting between levels 36–39. It does not attack on sight, so you can approach and pick your fights without being pulled into combat on the way in. On the Elyos side, it lives in Verteron, and every one of its 50 marked spots there is on Kraka Footpath. With the whole population packed into that one area, Kraka Footpath is the only place worth going to hunt it.

The nearest teleport statue is Kraka Uphill Path, about 190 m from Kraka Footpath, which makes for a short walk to the hunting ground. Each kill gives a guaranteed Soul: Young Ursus (Bound). Beyond that, Fresh Raw Meat drops at 1.2% and Raw Leather at 0.97%, while a Refining Stone appears at 0.16%. The Riverside armour pieces are much rarer, from Riverside Gloves and Riverside Boots at 0.07% down to Riverside Breastplate at 0.03%. The Rare-grade Expert's Refining Stone drops at 0.04%.
