The Luminous Cadaver Insectoid is a level 35 Normal-rank creature in the open world of AION 2. It does not attack on sight, so you can choose your pulls and fight at your own pace. On the Asmodian side, all 28 of its marked spots in Altgard sit at Fafnite Deposit, which makes that area the only place worth travelling to when you need them.

Teleport to the Steel Hammer Workcamp statue, then walk about 200 m to reach the deposit. Several quests send you there. Powder of Death, an Episode quest, asks for 10 kills and pays 6,453,912 XP, 27,000 bound Kina and 10 bound Healing Potions. The Pest Control duty wants 20 kills for 1,000 Abyss Points and 50,000 bound Kina, and the repeatable duty Festival Preparations: Fafnite Deposit II calls for 15. Spiritstone drops at 3.9% and Refining Stone at 0.65%. Phantasm Gloves, Boots and Cloak each drop at 0.27%, and Expert's Refining Stone at 0.16%.
