The Marsh Odyle Spider is a level 15 Normal creature found in the open world of AION 2, and it does not attack on sight. On the Elyos side it lives in Verteron, where all 34 of its marked spots sit in Contaminated Marsh, so that one area is where to hunt it. Because it leaves you alone until you strike first, you can pick your targets and pull them at your own pace.

Teleport to the Kraka Footpath Wastewater Downstream statue and walk about 130 m to reach the marsh. Every kill gives Soul: Mutated Aberrant Odyle Spider (Bound), a guaranteed Common drop. Spiritstone drops at 3.9% and Refining Stone at 0.65%. Forgotten gear pieces drop at between 0.16% and 0.32%, and Rainy Forest Gloves and Rainy Forest Boots, both Rare, drop at 0.12% each. Two quests send you here. The Duty Air Freshener asks for 20 kills and pays Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000. The repeatable Duty Festival Preparations: Contaminated Marsh asks for 10.
