The Marsh Slime is a level 13 Normal creature found in the open world of AION 2, and it does not attack on sight, so you can pick your fights without being pulled into extra ones. On the Elyos side it lives in Verteron, where all 80 of its marked spots sit in the Ellun River Marsh. With every spawn packed into that one area, the marsh is the only place you need to go, and the low level makes it a quick stop.

The nearest teleport statue is Marsh Outpost, about 110 m from the Ellun River Marsh. Every kill gives a guaranteed Soul: Contaminated Slime (Bound), and Spiritstone drops at 3.9%. Refining Stone comes in at 0.65%, and pieces of Forgotten gear such as Forgotten Gloves, Forgotten Boots and Forgotten Cloak drop at 0.32% each. Two Duty quests send you here. Stabilizing the Ellun River Marsh asks for 20 kills and rewards Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000. The repeatable Festival Preparations: Ellun River Marsh asks for 10.
