The Mind-Controlled Ancient Soldier is a level 24 Normal-rank creature found in the open world of AION 2, and it does not attack on sight. It appears only in Altgard on the Asmodian side, where all 13 of its marked spots sit in Uruthumheim, so that is the one area to head for. With every spawn gathered in a single place and no aggression to deal with, you can work through them at your own pace.

Several quests send you here: the Episode quest Voice of Rage asks for 3 kills and rewards 849,322 XP, Kina (Bound) x14,000 and Chaser Greaves x1, while the Duty quest Liberating Revenants needs 20 kills for Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000. The repeatable Duty Festival Preparations: Uruthumheim II calls for 10. Among its drops, Spiritstone comes in at 3.9% and Refining Stone at 0.65%, with Phantasm Gloves, Boots and Cloak each at 0.27%, and the Rare Expert's Refining Stone at 0.16%.
