The Patrolling Fossa is a level 25 Normal creature that roams the open world in Verteron on the Elyos side. It attacks on sight, so expect it to come at you as soon as you are close. All 18 of its marked spots in Verteron are in Southern Tolbas Forest, which makes that one area the only place you need to visit when you are looking for it.
