The Poison Blood Spider is a level 30 Normal-rank creature found in the open world of AION 2. It does not attack on sight, so you can pick your fights at your own pace. On the Asmodian side, every one of its 22 marked spots in Altgard sits in the Purifying Forest, which makes that area the only place worth heading to when you need them.

The nearest teleport statue is Guide Rest Stop, about 260 m from the Purifying Forest, so the walk in is short. The main reason to make the trip is the Episode quest Dying Light, which asks for 4 kills and rewards 2,812,524 XP, Kina (Bound) x19,000 and a Chaser Guard x1. Drops are a smaller bonus: Spiritstone at 3.9% and Refining Stone at 0.65% come most often, while Phantasm Gloves, Boots and Cloak each sit at 0.27%. Rarer pickups include Expert's Refining Stone at 0.16% and Chaos Gloves and Chaos Boots at 0.10% each.
