The Slink is a Normal-rank creature found in the open world of Altgard, on the Asmodian side, at levels 20–40. It does not attack on sight, so you can approach and pick your fights. Altgard has 39 spots where it appears, and Tranein Pond holds 18 of them, nearly half the total. Southern Gribade Highland has 10, Idun's Lake has 8 and Tranein Highland has 3.

For Tranein Pond, teleport to the Watcher's Tent statue and walk about 190 m. The Idun's Lake statue serves both Idun's Lake, about 140 m away, and Southern Gribade Highland, about 160 m away. Every kill gives Soul: Slink (Bound). Raw Leather drops at 3.9% and Refining Stone at 0.65%. Shade Gloves, Boots and Cloak each drop at 0.32%, and the Phantasm versions at 0.27%. Obtain Leather I and A Lake for Everyone each ask for 20 kills, and Obtain Leather II asks for 25. Each of the three pays Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000. Festival Preparations: Idun's Lake is a repeatable duty that needs 15 kills.
