The Tamed Beast is a Normal-rank creature of level 34–37 that roams the open world and attacks on sight. In Altgard, on the Asmodian side, all 35 of its marked spots sit in Basfelt Ruins, so that is the one area to go when you need them. Because they attack as soon as you come close, it pays to arrive at a level that handles a group comfortably.

The nearest teleport statue is Graverobber Campsite, about 150 m from the ruins. Every kill gives Soul: Fossa (Bound), and Fresh Raw Meat drops at 4.9% and Raw Leather at 3.9%. Refining Stone comes in at 0.65%, and the rare Expert's Refining Stone at 0.16%. Phantasm armour pieces drop at between 0.13% and 0.27%. Two duties send you here. Forced Eviction asks for 20 kills and pays Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000. Festival Preparations: Basfelt Ruins IV is a repeatable duty that asks for 15.
