The Tamed Blades Beast is a Normal-rank creature found in the open world of AION 2, ranging from level 18 to 37 and attacking on sight. On the Asmodian side it lives only in Altgard, where all 56 of its marked spots sit in Western Gribade Highland, so that area is the one place to hunt it. Expect to be engaged as soon as you come within range.

The nearest teleport statue is Abandoned Campsite, about 100 m from the hunting grounds, which makes the walk short. Every kill gives a guaranteed Soul: Tamed Karnif (Bound), alongside Fresh Raw Meat at 4.9% and Raw Leather at 3.9%. Refining Stone drops at 0.65% and the Rare Expert's Refining Stone at 0.16%, while Phantasm armour pieces range from 0.27% for the gloves, boots and cloak down to 0.13% for the breastplate. Three Duty quests also send you here: Creating an Opening I asks for 20 kills and Creating an Opening II for 25, each paying Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000, and the repeatable Festival Preparations: Western Gribade Highland asks for 20.
