The Tamed Karnif is a Normal-rank creature found in the open world of AION 2, ranging from level 13 to 45 and attacking on sight. On the Elyos side, every one of its 84 marked spots in Verteron sits on Kraka Footpath, so that single area is where to hunt it. With the whole population packed into one stretch of ground, you can work through kills quickly without moving between zones.

Travel to the Notos Legion Outpost teleport statue, which is about 90 m from Kraka Footpath. Each kill guarantees Soul: Karnif (Bound), and Fresh Raw Meat drops at 4.9% and Raw Leather at 3.9%. Refining Stone comes in at 0.65%, while the rare Expert's Refining Stone appears at 0.16%. Pieces of the Riverside set also drop, from Riverside Gloves, Boots and Cloak at 0.27% each down to Riverside Breastplate at 0.13%. Two Duty quests send you here: …And Justice for All asks for 20 kills and rewards Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000, and the repeatable Festival Preparations: Kraka Hill I asks for 10.
