The Varg Berserker is an open-world creature in AION 2, ranging from level 32–54 and appearing at both Normal and Elite rank. It attacks on sight, so expect a fight as soon as one notices you. Most of its spawns are in Middle Reshanta, in the Abyss, where the Distorted Old Growth Forest holds 60 marked spots. On the Asmodian side, Altgard has a smaller group of 21 at Dranactus.

For the forest, teleport to Latesran Western Ridge and walk about 690 m. For Dranactus, the Hidden Cave statue is only about 140 m away. Every kill gives Soul: Varg Berserker (Bound). Spiritstone drops at 5.8% and Refining Stone at 3.1%, with Expert's Refining Stone at 1.0% and Artisan's Refining Stone at 0.58%. Three repeatable duties named for the Distorted Old Growth Forest each ask for 20 kills and pay Abyss Points x2,000. Defiance I and Defiance II need 20 and 25 kills for Abyss Points x1,000 and Kina (Bound) x50,000, and the repeatable Festival Preparations: Dranactus II asks for 15.
