The Water Mist Spirit is a Normal-rank creature in the open world of AION 2, ranging from level 29 to 45. It does not attack on sight, so you can pick your fights. On the Asmodian side it lives only in Altgard, and all 30 of its marked spots sit in Purifying Forest, so that is the one area to head for.

Teleport to the Healing Spring statue and walk about 160 m to reach the spirits. Every kill drops Soul: Superior Water Spirit (Bound). Spiritstone comes at 3.9% and Refining Stone at 0.65%. Phantasm armour pieces drop between 0.27% and 0.13%, Expert's Refining Stone at 0.16% and Chaos Gloves at 0.10%. Several quests also send you here. The episode quest Dying Light needs 3 kills and pays 2,812,524 XP, 19,000 Kina (Bound) and a Chaser Guard. The duty Clean Water needs 20 kills for 1,000 Abyss Points and 50,000 Kina (Bound). Two repeatable duties also need kills: Festival Preparations: Purifying Forest I asks for 10. Purifying Forest: Purify the Water Altar asks for 25 and gives 1,000 Abyss Points.
