Ancient Sacred Fragrance is one of the longest main story quests in Aniimo, and it is really three separate legs stitched together by rank promotions. The goal is to recreate an old perfume said to please the Aeon, which means hunting down three ingredients scattered across Breezy Plains. Between each ingredient the quest stops dead until you hit a new player level and pass a promotion test, so the pacing depends as much on your grinding as on your fighting.
Quick answer: Gather the Super Truffle in the Mistwoods, the Echoback Salt at Echoback Landing, and the fragrance of courage in the Russet Highlands, then return to Velouria in Bloomville to watch Sunia blend the Aeon Incense.
Ancient Sacred Fragrance level and rank requirements
Each leg of the quest is locked behind a combination of Elite Training tasks, a player level, and a rank promotion. You cannot skip ahead, and the quest marker simply will not advance until all three conditions for that stage are met.

The promotions themselves are their own Growth Story quests. Promotion: Legacy’s Protection takes you to Student III and is what actually opens Ancient Sacred Fragrance. Promotion: Stardust’s Blessing follows at Level 40 for Wayfarer I, and Promotion: Core’s Nurture unlocks at Level 45 for Wayfarer II. Both later promotions are accepted by calling Dr. Lewis.
The level requirements are the real bottleneck here. Bronze and Silver Collection Badges in each area, Lumin Amber pickups and first-time Alpha Aniimo kills all pay out Safari EXP, which is faster than grinding battles.
The three fragrances and where to get them
Sunia needs one ingredient from each of three areas. Two of them are guarded by a fight, and the third is tied to a separate quest line.
Talk to Velouria to accept the quest once you have been promoted to Student III. Dr. Lewis will also walk you through Held Items around this point, which is worth sitting through before the first fight.
Travel to the Mistwoods entrance and follow the marker to Sunia and Nicole. A cutscene plays about the scent of life, after which the objective updates to search for the Super Truffle. Rhaven, standing near the entrance, explains Glimmer Trees, which light up the path through the fog.
Keep following the marker deeper into the forest, past the Mistwoods teleport waypoint, until you run into Tucking. Bring a Fire Aniimo to this one, since it counters him cleanly.
Beat Tucking to claim the Super Truffle, then return to Sunia and hand it over. The Blend the Fresh Green Fragrance cutscene confirms it worked, and the objective switches to Echoback Landing.
Open the map and teleport to the Frigid Waters waypoint, then sprint south through Beast Fang Ridge toward the coast. Gliding down the cliffs saves a decent chunk of travel time.
Arrive at the pink sand beach of Echoback Landing and watch the cutscene on the cliff. The objective becomes gathering the Incense of Tolerance, and open clams along the shoreline can be looted while you are there. Activate the Beachside Sandbars waypoint so you have a closer fast travel point.
Switch the time of day to night. The boss will not appear until nightfall, and you will see the “Time passes” clock animation before the encounter triggers.
Fight Aged Omega Sherro, a Level 40 boss that floats above the shoreline. Being at least Level 40 yourself makes this far less painful. Break its gauge with a burst attack and follow up with combos while it is staggered.
The “Sherro Returns to the Stars” card confirms the kill. A reward chest spawns on the beach afterwards, and opening it costs 50 Primegy in exchange for EXP, materials and currency.
Give the salt to Sunia to trigger the Blend the Deep Blue Fragrance scene. After the dialogue with BINI #9 wraps up, the quest parks itself behind the next set of Elite Training tasks.
Get the fragrance of courage in the Russet Highlands
Clear the outstanding Elite Training work and promotions first. Call Dr. Lewis for Promotion: Stardust’s Blessing at Level 40 to become Wayfarer I, then call him again for Promotion: Core’s Nurture at Level 45 for Wayfarer II.
Head to the Russet Highlands and follow the objective marker to trigger the cutscenes. The fragrance of courage is tied to the Flameheart Stone, and if you do not already hold one the game routes you into the Warrior quest to earn it.
With the third ingredient secured, find Sunia sitting under a tree nearby and talk to her. That is the cue that all three spices are ready and it is time to go back to Velouria.
Speak to Velouria one more time. The quest closes out here, your rewards land in your inventory, and the tracker moves on to the next set of requirements.

Once the Aeon Incense is finished, the story hands you another familiar set of conditions before it continues: Elite Training Chapter 4 tasks, Level 50, and a promotion to Wayfarer III. If you have been clearing areas for Collection Badges along the way, that gap will be shorter than the last one.
