Aniimo contains just one Mountain Form Helgon, and it stays airborne at all times. It follows a slow, repeating route over the stone pillars in Russet Highlands, making an approach on foot followed by a pod toss ineffective. To catch it, climb onto the pillars, position yourself beneath its route, and land a timed throw on its back.
Quick answer: In Russet Highlands, reach the stone pillars to the west of Twister Peaks. Land on the one beneath Helgon’s looping path, then hit its rear with an Anipod Mega to earn the Backstab bonus.
Where Mountain Form Helgon spawns in Russet Highlands
Helgon appears above mushroom-like stone pillars in Russet Highlands’ Breezy Plains area, just west of Twister Peaks. Beneath them, reddish ground has a light cover of snow, with several Jawlings roaming around. Their presence is a useful landmark for the right pocket; avoid going east into the rest of Breezy Plains.
Before setting off, open the map and drop a marker near -1162, 1804. From a distance the pillars stand out clearly, so use the marker mainly to keep your heading correct on the way in.

Helgon stays in this area, tracing a broad loop above the pillar tops over and over. If it passes before you land a throw, wait for its next circuit. The key is to time your shot, not follow it.

- A flying or gliding Aniimo, since the pillars cannot reasonably be climbed on foot.
- Bring a supply of Anipod Mega, which is appropriate for a level 45–50 target.
- Carry extra pods; from this distance, a missed throw can fly far beyond Helgon.
- A team capable of facing a Wind, Nova Stage opponent, should you decide to BREAK it first.
Helgon sleeps at night. During the night cycle it reacts to you less, which makes lining up a clean throw easier.
How to catch Mountain Form Helgon on the pillars

When a pod misses, stay on the pillar instead of chasing it upward. Wait for Helgon to complete its circuit and try again on the next pass.
Catch rate and the Backstab bonus
Against a target following a set aerial route, Backstab is the multiplier you can count on controlling. A well-placed throw from behind brings the catch rate shown on screen to 68%. You can also BREAK Helgon to add another multiplier, but this takes longer and may cost you the chance as it moves away from your pillar.
| Condition | Effect on catch |
|---|---|
| Base wild catch chance | 19% |
| Target in BREAK state | ×1.5 |
| Backstab throw | ×1.5 |
| Sparkling variant odds | 1 in 20,000 (base) |
How to confirm the catch worked
After the pod touches down, the capture animation runs, followed by the Aniilog card. Check for No. 066: Mountain Form, Nova Stage, Wind element, and BREAK role; its entry reads “Piercing golden eyes colored with radiant light.” You receive the creature at about Level 50, and an experience notification appears at the same time.

A separate banner should report that Helgon Special Form collection progress increased and that your Collaboration Ability level went up. If those messages do not appear, the pod failed and Helgon is still circling overhead.

Evolving into Mountain Helgon instead
If the throws keep overshooting, you can build the form through evolution instead of catching it. Raise a Mountain Jawling, which becomes Mountain Helmwhelp at Level 38, then Mountain Helmwhelp becomes Mountain Helgon at Level 48.

Unlocking the Nova Stage evolution requires opening 30 chests across the world in total, and the evolution takes Gust Stone x3. Helmwhelp can also evolve into Infergon, so use the stone on the Mountain branch, not the Infergon path.
Either way, you get a Wind-element BREAK unit at Nova Stage. Wind Counter puts it in a defensive stance, increasing damage reduction by 30 percent and triggering an automatic counter. When it takes a hit, its Counter Strike trait raises BREAK efficiency by 25 percent for 10 seconds. Avoid electric and light attackers, which deal 1.6x damage; wind and dark enemies are favorable matchups, dealing only 0.625x damage.
