Infergon is the armored fire dragon that sits at the end of the Jawling evolution line in Aniimo, and it is one of the few Nova stage Aniimo you cannot catch in the wild. Getting one means clearing a specific side quest in Russet Highlands, beating a level 50 boss, and holding a Jawling with the right potential rating before you ever open the evolution screen.
Quick answer: Catch a Perfect Jawling in Russet Highlands, evolve it to Helmwhelp at Lv. 38, finish the Warrior quest, defeat Omega Infergon, then evolve at Lv. 48 using 3 Blaze Stones.
Infergon evolution requirements in full
Four conditions gate the final evolution, and the game checks all of them at once. Missing any single one leaves the evolve button greyed out.
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| Unlock condition | Defeat Omega Infergon |
| Aniimo level | Lv. 48 Helmwhelp |
| Potential rating | Perfect |
| Evolution cost | Blaze Stone x3 |
There is an earlier step in the chain too. A Jawling becomes a Helmwhelp at Lv. 38, with no material cost and no boss requirement attached.
Mountain Jawling and Mountain Helmwhelp are dead ends for this. They only evolve into Mountain Helgon, so do not sink EXP items into one expecting a dragon at the other side.

Russet Highlands sits in the Breezy Plains and runs from level 44 up to level 50 across its sub-areas, which makes it the roughest stretch of the continent at launch. You need to be deep into the main campaign, near the end of Chapter 3 and around the Ancient Sacred Fragrance quest, before the region opens up and the Warrior side quest becomes available.

The Warrior section you want belongs to The Legend of Helmuts and Helgons in Russet Highlands. There is a separate Journey: Warrior in Beast Fang Ridge, and it has nothing to do with Infergon.
Farming a Perfect Jawling in Russet Highlands
The potential rating is fixed when you catch the creature, so this is a numbers game rather than something you can fix later. Start it early and let it run in the background while you push the quest.

If you already have a Helmwhelp with Perfect potential from earlier play, you can skip this entirely and go straight to the quest.
Catch a Helmut for the Dragonclaw Stone
The Warrior quest asks you to Twine with a Helmut at the storm-wrapped summit. Helmuts appear in the wild around Russet Highlands and Rainbow Woods, so grab one before you head up. A Perfect Helmut is not required, though it is worth keeping if you roll one, since that same Helmut evolves into a Pawney during the quest.

The Dragonclaw Stone can technically be shattered with other Aniimo, but the questline is built around the Helmut and the story beats only fire correctly with one in hand.
Completing the Warrior quest and pulling the Sword of Bravery
The Warrior section of The Legend of Helmuts and Helgons is what unlocks the dragon encounter. It starts with a painter, not a boss arena.

Section rewards are 1,000 Safaris, 30 Glimmer, 22,500 Credits, 30 Sparkling Crystals, 1 Ferocious Fang and 1 Sword of Bravery. The sword itself is an Epic mission item described as consolidating Helmut’s understanding of evolution.
Defeat Omega Infergon to unlock the evolution
The summit Infergon you beat during the quest is not the one that unlocks anything. The actual key is Omega Infergon, a level 50 weekly boss that spawns in a separate arena in the northern part of Russet Highlands.
Bring a team built for a sustained fight rather than a burst check, clear it, and claim the chest. The moment it dies, the unlock condition on the evolution screen flips from locked to complete.
Level, gather Blaze Stones, and evolve
With the boss down, the rest is arithmetic. Open the Aniimo menu, select your Perfect Jawling, and feed it EXP items until it hits Lv. 38, then run the evolution into Helmwhelp.

Keep pumping EXP until the Helmwhelp reaches Lv. 48. That is the second level gate, and the evolution screen will list it alongside the Perfect potential check and the Blaze Stone cost.
Blaze Stones come from Alpha Scorchhowl in Beast Fang Ridge, a level 30 to 35 area also in the Breezy Plains. Kill it and collect until you have three, then return to the evolution screen and confirm.
You know it worked when the Helmwhelp entry becomes Infergon, No. 67, with the Fire element and the Nova stage tag attached. Its element flips from Wind to Fire at this point, which is the clearest single confirmation on the screen.
Infergon stats, traits, and skills
Infergon is a Fire element DPS with a base stat total of 505.

| Stat | Value | Stat | Value |
|---|---|---|---|
| 95 | P.DEF | 70 | |
| 125 | M.DEF | 85 | |
| 50 | REGEN | 80 |
Its trait, Power of Fire, adds 30 percent damage against enemies carrying more than 5 stacks of Fire Debuff, which is the whole shape of its kit. Flaming Breath applies 8 stacks in one cone, Flaming Claws then spends 2 stacks per strike for bonus damage worth 30 Might, and Fiery Charge closes distance while granting a shield equal to 5 percent of max HP for 10 seconds. The ultimate, Hot Breath, is an airborne lava breath that hits a wide area in front and reapplies 8 stacks.
Outside combat it carries Fly Lv. 3 pathfinding, Carry Lv. 3 and Fire Lv. 3 homeland abilities, and a Bilateral mobility skill that shifts your viewing perspective. That flight tier alone makes it useful for traversal even if you do not run it as your main damage dealer.
Once Infergon is in your roster, the rest of The Legend of Helmuts and Helgons opens up. Helmut’s Island Adventure, the Nightfall Tales campfire section, and A Fragrant Journey all follow on from Warrior, and the last of those turns the flame flower left at the summit into the Eternal Red perfume back in Bloomville.
