Aniimo: How to Get Pomegg Snowfield Form

Pomegg has four regional forms, and the Snowfield Form is the one that hides under a snowball. It is not a rare drop, an event reward, or something you evolve into. It is a weather spawn, which means the creature simply does not exist in the world until the sky cooperates.

Quick answer: Wait for Snowy weather in Rosetower Woods or Driftwise Meadow, then catch a Pomegg there. In any other weather, only the basic Grass form spawns.

The Snowy weather requirement

Snowfield Pomegg is tied to a single condition, and the Aniilog entry for it spells that condition out before you ever set foot in the zone. The form appears only while the host region is running snowy weather. Everything else about the hunt is secondary.

Open the world map and look at the region label. Each area displays its own weather icon alongside its exploration percentage and level band, so you can confirm the snowflake is active before you fast travel. If the region is clear, the Snowfield spawns are not in the world and no amount of searching the lake will produce one.

Weather is a regional state, not a global one. Snow in one area says nothing about the next, so check the specific region you plan to hunt in.

Snowfield Pomegg spawn locations

Two regions host the Snowfield Form. Rosetower Woods carries far more spawn points and a lower level band, which makes it the friendlier option if your team is still climbing. Driftwise Meadow has fewer nodes but concentrates them around one very recognizable landmark.

The Driftwise Meadow habitat grid clusters tightly around the region’s lake and then spreads north of it. Opening the Aniilog page for the Snowfield Form and toggling its habitat overlay paints those yellow squares directly onto the map, which saves you from sweeping the whole meadow on foot.

How to catch it in Driftwise Meadow

Open the map, select Driftwise Meadow, and confirm the snowflake icon is showing. The region sits in the Lv. 51-56 band, so bring a team that can survive a stray aggro while you line up a throw.

Fast travel in and head for the lake near coordinates -0366, 1274. The shoreline on the right-hand side of the water is a reliable spot, and the snow makes the creatures easy to pick out against the terrain.

Work the slopes beside the water and then push north. Snowfield Pomegg is a small blue creature balancing a snowball on its head, complete with a stick nose and snowball hands, and it roams in loose groups rather than as a single spawn.

Throw an Anipod. The base catch chance sits at 38%, so expect to spend a few attempts per creature. Breaking it first multiplies your odds by 1.5, and so does landing the throw from behind.

Nature roll: Cheerful or Sensitive, 50% each

Because it sleeps at night, a sleeping target is a free backstab. Combine that with a break and you are stacking both multipliers on the same throw.

Confirming you caught the Snowfield Form

Open your Aniimo storage and select the new entry. The correct catch is listed as No. 36B, Snowfield Form, with a Grass and Ice dual element rather than the basic form’s single Grass typing. That second Ice icon is the fastest way to tell the two apart at a glance.

Summoning it settles any doubt. The Snowfield Form wears a snowball helmet that reads as a snowman head, and its Aniilog text describes it retracting into its shell to pass as one.

What Snowfield Pomegg brings to a team

It is a Lumin stage Break unit, and the Ice half of its typing is not cosmetic. The form swaps in a freeze tool that the basic Grass version does not get to use in the same way.

Rhythm Combo has no cooldown and chains up to three times, and hitting the timing window adds an extra stack of Volume. It is your filler and your stack engine.

Jittering Beats hits everything around the Pomegg and applies Silence for 4 seconds on a 15 second cooldown, shutting off enemy skills while it lasts.

Frost Strike is the form-exclusive tool. Same 15 second cooldown and the same area hit, but it Freezes for 2.5 seconds instead of silencing.

Its trait, Tuning, grants one stack of Volume per skill cast up to six stacks, and at six stacks it raises Crit Rate by 20% for 15 seconds. Both of its 20 EP skills are expensive for what they deal, so it works best next to something that feeds the team energy.

At Lv. 25 it evolves into Snowfield Pomawk for three Sprout Stones, carrying the snow palette forward. If you want the form purely for the Aniilog entry, catching one and stopping there is enough, but the Ice typing and the freeze are the reason to actually raise it.
