Snowfield Pranky is the cold-region variant of the Water Aniimo Pranky, logged as No. 14C in the Aniilog. It swaps the standard form’s plain Water typing for Water/Ice, keeps the Heal role, and only turns up in one region of the map. The good news is that it is not a rare spawn once you are standing in the right spot.
Quick answer: Reach level 50, travel to Driftwise Meadow, and head to the partially frozen lake in the centre of the zone. Wild Snowfield Prankies sit on the ice floes and the small hill beside the water.
Requirements before you travel to Driftwise Meadow
Driftwise Meadow is a late-game snow zone, so the gate here is your own progression rather than any quest flag.

- Reach level 50 before making the trip.
- Driftwise Meadow carries a recommended level range of 51–56, so expect tough wild Aniimo nearby.
- Bring an Aniimo that can fly or swim — much of the spawn area is open water and floating ice.
- Driftwise Meadow is the only habitat listed for this form.
You can confirm the habitat yourself from the world map. Open the map, select Driftwise Meadow, and check the habitat panel for Pranky Snowfield Form before you set off.

Wild Skipper also wanders this shoreline, so read the name tag above each creature before you commit to a catch.

The icebergs are worth a closer look while you are out there. Several hold treasure chests, and others have nests with eggs sitting on them, so a sweep for Pranky doubles as a loot run.

The evolution route from Snowfield Skippy
Catching a wild one is the fastest path, but Snowfield Pranky also sits in the middle of a three-stage line. If you already own a Snowfield Skippy, you can skip the trip and raise it instead.

| Evolution | Level | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| Snowfield Skippy → Snowfield Pranky | Lv. 12 | Must be in a snowy area |
| Snowfield Pranky → Snowfield Glacy | Lv. 20 | Snowy area, plus Wave Stone x3 |
The snowy-area condition is the part people miss. Levelling a Snowfield Skippy to 12 somewhere warm will not trigger the change, so bring it back to a snow region before it hits the threshold. The same applies again at level 20 for Snowfield Glacy.
Snowfield Pranky stats, trait, and skills
It is a Gamma stage Heal unit with dual Water and Ice typing. The stat spread leans toward survival rather than damage, with magic defence well ahead of physical defence.

| Stat | Value | Stat | Value |
|---|---|---|---|
| 109 | P.Def | 66 | |
| 85 | M.Def | 98 | |
| 50 | Regen | 74 | |
| Base total | 482 | Stage | Gamma |
Its trait is Water Spirit, which cuts the EP cost of all skills by 16% while it is standing on water terrain. Given how much of Driftwise Meadow is lake, that discount is easy to keep active in the zone where you catch it.
For exploration it has Swim as its pathfinding ability, and it brings three Homeland abilities — Carry at Lv. 2, Water at Lv. 2, and Ice at Lv. 1. It has no Mobility skill.
Combat skills
- Healing Water — heals every ally for 8% of the caster’s maximum HP and also applies a heal-over-time effect to the caster. It requires 20 EP and has a 20-second cooldown.
- Water Orb — fires water orbs at a target. Hold the skill button to aim.
- Ice Orb — fires an ice orb that can leave the target Frozen. Hold to aim.
- Innate ATK — a ranged magic water attack.
The dual typing cuts both ways. Snowfield Pranky shrugs off water damage but takes heavily increased damage from Grass attacks, so pull it off the field against Grass opponents.
How to confirm you caught the right form
Once the catch lands, open the Aniilog and look for entry No. 14C. The correct one is listed as Snowfield Pranky and shows both the Water and Ice element icons alongside the Heal role — the standard Pranky at No. 14A is Water only, and the Sea of Flowers variant sits at No. 14B.
Look for an Aniilog note describing Prankies from frigid areas: frost coats the gills and tail fins, while snow cushions the membranes, making them appear thicker. If the entry contains that wording, it identifies the Snowfield Form, and slot No. 14C is occupied.
From there it slots straight into a water-heavy team as a sustain option, and if you want the Nova stage, keep it in the snow until it reaches level 20 with three Wave Stones in your bag.
