Raise a Wisptis to level 29 in Aniimo, open its evolution screen, and you hit a locked requirement called Fulminous Soul with no hint of where it lives. It is not hiding in the open world, and no amount of grinding will produce one. The item is real, but it comes from a single paid source.
Quick answer: Buy the Advanced Edition of the Season 1 Companion Handbook and reach level 10 to claim the Fulminous Soul (also called Soul of Electric Shock). There is no free way to obtain it.
What the Fulminous Soul actually is
The evolution screen labels the requirement “Fulminous Soul,” but the item in your inventory is named Soul of Electric Shock. Fulminous Soul is the effect it grants. It is a Legendary evolution material that unlocks the branching evolution from Wisptis into Fulmintis, the Lightning DPS form.
You only ever need one. Once it is in your inventory, the Fulmintis branch stays unlocked for good, so a second Soul is not required to evolve more than one Wisptis into the item requirement itself.
How to get the Fulminous Soul
The Soul of Electric Shock sits on the paid track of Aniimo’s battle pass. The Companion Handbook has two versions: a free Standard Edition and a paid Advanced Edition. The Soul is exclusive to the Advanced Edition.
There are no wild drops, shops, events, or Alpha rewards that give the Soul. If you do not own the Advanced Edition, you cannot obtain it.
Evolve Wisptis into Fulmintis
With the Soul in hand, the evolution is straightforward. You need three things ready before the option appears.
- A Wisptis at level 29 or higher.
- The Fulminous Soul (Soul of Electric Shock) in your inventory.
- Three Roar Stones to pay the evolution cost.
Roar Stones are Epic evolution materials for Lightning Aniimo. Farm them by taking down Alpha Blazen atop the mountain south of the Blitzwood Bloom in the Blitzwood region.
Your branch selection cannot be changed. Choosing Fulmintis for a Wisptis rules out a later Ignitis transformation, meaning both forms require raising two separate Wisptis. Ignitis is the free Dark branch and requires three Night Stone plus three consecutive victories over that same regional form of Wisptis.
Getting Fulmintis without the Soul
You can still add one Fulmintis to your roster without paying, but not through the evolution route. The free Standard Edition of the Companion Handbook grants an Incredible Fulmintis Egg when you reach level 10. Hatching it guarantees a Fulmintis with Elite Potential or higher.
This is currently the only way for free players to obtain Fulmintis, and it produces exactly one. You do not receive the Soul of Electric Shock, so you still cannot evolve any Wisptis into Fulmintis on your own.
Because this free Fulmintis is effectively a one-of-one for non-paying players, using a Sparkling Cube to twine with it (or feeding a Capafruit to raise potential) is worth it to secure Sparkling and Perfect Potential.
The Advanced Edition also includes a Prismana Fulmintis Egg, which guarantees Prismana Fulmintis on hatch. A separate Keepsakes Companion Handbook, priced at $19.99, adds the Fulmintis Avatar Frame, an appearance-only cosmetic.
How to confirm it worked
You know the Soul is claimed when Soul of Electric Shock appears in your Aniimo Items inventory as a Legendary material. From that point, opening the evolution screen on a level 29 Wisptis shows the Fulmintis branch as a valid choice rather than a locked requirement. Confirming the evolution and paying the Roar Stone cost turns your Wisptis into Fulmintis, and it will show its new Lightning form and skill set right away.
