The Mysterious Aniimo Egg is a Legendary egg that your own creatures carry home from the road. It is tied to one feature in particular, and what hatches out of it depends on the companion you sent away rather than on luck alone.

Quick answer: Use the Aniimo on a Trip feature from a Level 6 RV or higher. Each trip can return at most one egg, and longer trips raise the chance your creature brings one back.

Get the Mysterious Aniimo Egg from Aniimo on a Trip

The egg only comes from sending creatures out to explore. Before you can start, make sure you meet the basic requirements.

  • A Level 6 RV or higher, which is where the Aniimo on a Trip feature becomes available.
  • At least one Aniimo free to send on a trip.
  • Time to let the trip run its course, since the egg only arrives when the creature returns.
Travel to one of your RV parks and open the Aniimo on a Trip menu. It will not appear until the RV has reached Level 6, so upgrade it first if the option is missing.
Pick a creature to send and choose a trip length. Go with the longest option you can afford, because trip duration is the single biggest factor in whether an egg comes back.
Wait for the trip to finish. A single journey returns at most one Aniimo Egg, so there is no benefit to checking early.
Collect the creature when it gets home. If it found one, the Mysterious Aniimo Egg lands in your inventory alongside the returning Aniimo, confirming the reward.

What the Mysterious Aniimo Egg hatches into

This is where the trip feature stands apart from eggs you simply find in the world. The egg’s family is linked to the exact creature you sent out, so the species that hatches stays in that creature’s line rather than being fully random.

Even better, the egg has a chance to inherit the traveling Aniimo’s form and mutation. That includes the rare Prismana Form and the Sparkling mutation. If you want a shot at a Prismana or Sparkling baby, send out a creature that already carries those traits and let the inheritance roll do the rest.

Raise your odds with longer trips

No drop is assured, though the rule is straightforward: as an outing lasts longer, the likelihood that your Aniimo returns with an egg rises. A brief trip may yield nothing, but spending more time away improves the odds.

Keep multiple RVs running trips at once so you always have creatures out exploring. Since each journey tops out at one egg, parallel trips are the fastest way to build a steady supply.

Hatching the egg and its potential

Aniimo uses several egg types, and each one changes what you can expect from a hatch. Reading an egg’s description before you commit saves you from wasting rare items on a benefit the egg already provides.

Drop the egg into an Outpost Hatchinator or Home Hatchinator, then choose Twine to open the Aniipod menu. The egg’s guarantee shows at the bottom left, and the selected item’s added effect shows on the right. Compare both before confirming.

Potential is a separate idea from form and mutation. An Incredible Egg, for example, guarantees Elite potential or higher on its own, so a regular Aniipod will not lower that floor.

Two items add guarantees during a hatch. An Aniipod Ultra sets a floor of at least Elite potential, while a Sparkling Cube delivers Perfect potential together with a Sparkling mutation. Matching guarantees do not stack, so there is no point in doubling up a trait the egg already promises.

How it differs from Egg Heist eggs

The eggs awarded on a trip are easy to confuse with those obtained through Egg Heist, Aniimo’s extraction mode. They come from a different system, and Egg Heist becomes available at level 50, when you attain Wayfarer III.

Inside Egg Heist, the in-mode shop sells eggs such as the Mysterious Prismana Egg in exchange for coins and shards rather than handing them out from a trip.

You can also unearth eggs from nests far inside the Lost Sanctum. There are two entrances; the side route takes you directly into the deep areas, nearer the more rewarding rooms and the tougher fights.

Each nest sits in a guarded room, so you clear the Umbra enemies first, then dig and twine with the egg to roll it toward the boat. Fainting forfeits your backpack and everything equipped, so an escape plan matters more than a kill.

After a successful extraction, the egg is delivered to your in-game mailbox, where you tap Claim to move it into your inventory and on to a Hatchinator. The Mysterious Aniimo Egg skips all of that risk, which is why trips remain the most relaxed way to chase a Prismana or Sparkling hatch.
