Stars and the Knight is a Journey quest in Aniimo that plays out along the shore at Echoback Landing. You investigate a group of Susutas, disguise yourself using Twining, patrol the beach with a Shelly, and deliver the Shell Sword to close the story. Completing it satisfies the appearance condition for the Omega Sherro encounter.
Quick answer: Twine with a Susuta to find the shining shells, twine with a Shelly to patrol and wake the sleeping Shelly, defeat the three Susutas for the Susuta Shovel, deliver the Shell Sword to Sparkly Shelly, then return the shovel to the Susutas.

Requirements before you start Stars and the Knight
The quest is picked up at Echoback Landing, which sits in the Breezy Plains region around the level 36–40 range. Two things must already be in place before it can run to completion.
- You need the Shell Sword, which drops when you defeat Aged Omega Sherro during the main quest Ancient Sacred Fragrance.
- You must have progressed the story far enough to unlock the day/night switching feature, since some stages expect a specific time of day.
- You need access to both a Susuta-family Aniimo and a Shelly-family Aniimo, because the two disguises are required at different points.
Having the right creature in storage is not the same as being twined with it. Each conversation checks the Twining form you are currently wearing, so switch forms when the objective asks for a different family.

Stars and the Knight walkthrough

How to confirm the quest is complete
Handing the shovel to the Susutas plays The Susuta’s Gift cutscene, and Stars and the Knight is marked complete in your Log. You also receive the Safaris, Glimmer, Credits, and Supreme Elixir rewards at this point. Check the Journey’s completion state in the Log before you move on.
An empty enemy health bar during the story fight is not the completion check. Finish every closing conversation, then confirm the Journey is completed in the Log before you go hunting the Omega Sherro encounter. That repeatable boss has its own separate appearance conditions and reward rules once the Journey flag is set.
