Liz’s house in Animal Hospital is not a room you stumble into on the ward. The only way inside is a Shift 20 invitation, and that line never appears until her photo work is finished.

The camera sits near check-in. Wait for the named patient, then take that shot only. Names change from run to run, so match the name she just gave you. A photo of anyone else ends her trust for that run. She takes the camera back and does not return, which also blocks the house visit.
She comes back across later shifts with more names. Keep photographing only the patient she names until those requests are done. A few shifts after the last correct photo, she returns with a newspaper that says the investigation worked, then leaves to work in journalism. Stay on your shifts. The house invite is still later.

A successful choice teleports you into her home. The space is small and furnished as a lived-in house, not another hospital room. That scene change is the confirmation the invite worked.
Liz offers pizza as soon as you arrive. Take a slice and it is stored on your hotbar. Eat it to gain Sanity. If you never left the ward and never saw that offer, the Shift 20 line was missed or declined.
