Anime Expeditions: How to Get All Eclipse Update Units and Evolve Them

Where the four Update 2.5 units drop, the raid farming order, and the trial that evolves Eclipse Hunter.

Update 2.5 dropped four new units into Anime Expeditions, and none of them come from a banner pull. Two are locked behind acts of the Snowy Castle Raid, and two come from a randomized questline hidden on a story map. The routes are short, but only if you farm them in the right order.

Quick answer: Run Snowy Castle Raid Act 2 for Eclipse Hunter (Savior) and Act 3 for Iron Wolf (Struggler), then find the Broken Falcon NPC on Crimson Shore to start Redemption or Sacrifice for Silver Falcon and 5th God Hand. Eclipse Hunter evolves by clearing the A Perfect Challenge [Bioinsect] trial.

All four Update 2.5 units and where each one drops

The four additions split cleanly into raid drops and quest rewards. Nothing here overlaps, so you can chase both tracks in parallel if you have the time.

Snowy Castle Raid: Act rewards and the correct farming order

The raid runs across three acts, and each one hands out something different. Act 1 is the gear act, dropping the Blade of Reality and Demonlayer signature equipment. Act 2 is where Eclipse Hunter (Savior) drops, and Act 3 holds Iron Wolf (Struggler).

Start with Act 2 rather than Act 1. Clearing it repeatedly banks Coin Pouches, and those pouches are the gate on the raid shop items that make Act 3 far less painful.

Open the raid menu and select Snowy Castle, Act 2. Set the difficulty you can reliably clear rather than the highest one available, since consistent completions matter more than a single lucky run.
Confirm the run on the Start Game prompt. From here every full clear pays out Coin Pouches alongside your Eclipse Hunter drop chance.

Spend the Coin Pouches in the Forbidden Teacher Raid Shop on Snowy Castle Totems, which cost 25 Coin Pouches each. Every totem adds 10 percent damage, stacking to a 100 percent damage buff once you own the full set.
Move to Act 3 with the totem buff active and farm it for Iron Wolf (Struggler). Act 1 can be cleaned up at any point afterwards for the Blade of Reality and Demonlayer.

How to evolve Eclipse Hunter (Savior)

Eclipse Hunter’s evolution is not a sprite-and-gold purchase you can rush with materials. It is gated behind a trial quest called A Perfect Challenge [Bioinsect], and the evolution only becomes available once that trial is cleared.

Take the trial with a team that can survive extended waves, since the challenge is the entire requirement. After the clear registers, the evolution appears in the Evolve section of the Upgrades room in the main lobby, and the option becomes selectable instead of locked.

Redemption or Sacrifice: Unlocking Silver Falcon and 5th God Hand

Both remaining units run through a single questline, and the starting point moves. The Broken Falcon NPC spawns at a randomized location on the Crimson Shore story map, so you may need to reload the map a few times before the NPC turns up. Talking to him accepts the Redemption or Sacrifice quest.

The quest asks for two currencies, Redeemed Souls and Sacrificed Souls. Both come from the Eclipsed Infinite story stage, which rotates between maps and is marked with an eclipse icon on the map selection screen. If you cannot see the icon, the stage has rotated elsewhere and you need to check the other story maps.

Note: which unit you end up with depends on the path the quest name implies, so read the objective text before committing souls.

Who Am I? and Golden Hour: Reroll materials for your new units

A fresh Mythic is only as good as the trait sitting on it, and Update 2.5 added two events that feed rerolls directly. Who Am I? is a guessing minigame that gives you text clues about an anime character. Pick the correct unit from the selection screen and you are paid out in items such as Stat Rerolls.

Golden Hour works differently. It appears at random on story maps and is flagged by golden coins on the stage marker. Clearing one of those flagged stages pays out Trait Crystals, Stat Rerolls, and Golden Unit Indicators.

Crafting the new signature gear

Not every piece of Eclipse gear drops from the raid. The Mentor’s Cape and Pointy Straw are built in the Crafting menu instead, and the recipes list every material requirement before you commit anything. The Blade of Reality and Demonlayer remain Act 1 raid drops.

Update 2.5 codes for rerolls and crystals

Four codes landed alongside the update, and they hand over the reroll currency you will burn on the new units. Redeem them through the settings menu in the lobby, then pick Redeem Codes and enter each one exactly as written.

CodeReward
Eclipse25 Trait Crystals, 50 Equipment Rerolls
250klikes1,000 Sand Dollars, 25 Equipment Rerolls, 25 Trait Crystals
8thCompany50 Stat Rerolls, 25 Trait Crystals
EvolutionsFix25 Trait Crystals

A code that fails has almost always expired or been mistyped, and some codes carry an account level requirement before they will redeem. You can check your current level in the lobby before trying again on the Anime Expeditions Roblox page.

The fastest path through all of this is still the raid. Bank enough Coin Pouches on Act 2 to max the Snowy Castle Totems, and the damage buff carries you through Act 3 and the Bioinsect trial without needing a rebuilt team. The Crimson Shore questline can run in the background while you wait for the Eclipsed Infinite stage to rotate back into view.
