Where to grab the Andreas Island map, dig up the Abaco Island chest, and claim the Earth Monster Relief.

The Treasure Map from Andreas Island is a two-step task in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. You pick up the map on Andreas Island, then sail to Abaco Island to unearth the buried chest it points to. Following it through nets you 2,500 Reales and the Earth Monster Relief.

Quick answer: Loot the corpse at 543,693 on Andreas Island’s southern shore to get the map, then fast-travel to Abaco Island and dig at 586,811, behind the large rock in the northeast corner.

Find the treasure map on Andreas Island (543,693)

The map is held by a dead body on Andreas Island, which sits just southwest of Nassau. Head to the southernmost stretch of beach, on the southwest side of the island, where a broken ship’s hull rests near two palm trees.

Travel to Andreas Island and move to coordinates 543,693 on the sandy shore. Look for the corpse lying beside a palm tree and a torch at the tip of the island.
Approach the body and use the Search prompt to collect the Carte au trésor d’Andreas Island. The map is added straight to your inventory.
Open your inventory and go to Bag, then Treasure Maps, and select the Andreas Island map to view it in the codex. The drawing shows a sandy beach with three palm trees, a shipwreck, and a red X, with the coordinates 586,811 written in the corner.

Dig up the buried treasure on Abaco Island (586,811)

The chest is not on Andreas Island. Those coordinates point to Abaco Island, so the fastest route is to open the world map and fast-travel there directly.

Open the world map, select Abaco Island, and fast-travel to 586,811. You will arrive on a beach with a large shipwreck sitting behind you.
Move to the northeast corner of the island and find the small grassy patch between a curved palm tree and a large rock. The dig spot is on the ground behind that rock.
Use the Dig prompt to trigger the cutscene. Edward unearths a wooden chest, breaks the lock, and takes the contents.

If the dig prompt does not appear on Abaco Island, you are standing in the wrong spot. Line yourself up with the grassy ground behind the large rock next to the curved palm tree, and the Dig option will show up. Andreas Island is reached early in the main story, so you can complete this run as soon as you have the map in hand.
