The reworked Desert Island in Blox Fruits hides one of the easier Island Secrets in Sea 1, and it takes about a minute once you know where to stand. A ring of sand-covered stones sits out near the pyramid, and beating the sand off each one reveals a set of carvings that a village NPC will pay you for. No boss fight, no timer, no key item.
Quick answer: Strike every stone in the circle near the Desert pyramid until all of them turn dark and glow with blue runes, then talk to the Desert Merchant in the village to hand in the carvings.
Where the stone circle is on Desert Island
Sail to the Desert island in Sea 1 and head for the pyramid rather than the village. On the open sand nearby you’ll spot a ring of brown, weathered stones arranged in a circle on the ground. They look like scenery, which is exactly why most players walk straight past them on their way to the Desert Bandits.
Flying or gliding over the area makes the shape obvious from above. From ground level, the stones blend into the sand, so approach from the pyramid side and look for the even spacing.

| Location | Stone circle near the pyramid, Desert island, Sea 1 |
| Objective | Hit every stone until the sand comes off |
| Tools needed | Any sword or fighting style; basic attacks are enough |
| Turn-in NPC | Desert Merchant, in the village area |
| Enemies involved | None at the circle itself |
There’s no minimum gear requirement here. Fists work, a starter sword works, and a Dark Blade works. The stones only care that they get hit, not how hard.
How to activate the stones

How to confirm the secret triggered
Two things happen at once when the puzzle completes. The runes on the stones start glowing blue, and an on-screen prompt appears reading “The carvings are yours to report. Take them to the Desert Merchant.” If you don’t see that line, at least one stone is still buried.

Report the carvings to the Desert Merchant
The reward isn’t handed to you at the circle. Head back into the village on Desert island and find the Desert Merchant, then speak to him to hand over the carvings and close out the objective.

Why the runes don’t light up
- A stone was missed. Circle the ring once more and check that every stone is dark rather than sandy brown.
- A stone wasn’t hit enough times. Each one needs several strikes to shed all of its sand.
- You already reported the carvings on that character. The objective is a one-time completion per account, not a repeatable farm.
The stone circle is one of 40 Island Secrets spread across the 16 islands of Sea 1, and each one you finish awards a star. Collect all 40 and the Teleporter in Middletown unlocks, so clearing quick objectives like this one while you’re already grinding the Desert is the cheapest progress you’ll make toward it.
