Blox Fruits: How to Trigger the Awakened Yeti Secret on Frozen Village

The third secret on Frozen Village is the only one of the island’s three that requires a boss kill, and it is also the only one gated behind a rotating spawn window. Everything hinges on finding three green crystallized totems buried around the Yeti boss area, breaking all of them, and then killing the Awakened Yeti before the window closes.

Quick answer: Confirm with the Secrets Master in Middle Town that the next awakened boss is the Yeti, fly to Frozen Village, destroy all three green totems near the Yeti spawn to light the three torches, then defeat the Awakened Yeti and talk to the Villager NPC to bank the star.

Check the Awakened Yeti spawn rotation first

Do not sail to Frozen Village first. The awakened bosses in the First Sea rotate on a schedule, and only one of them is active at a time. If the rotation is pointing somewhere else, the totems will not spawn and you will waste the trip.

Head to Middle Town and go into the building where the Secrets Master NPC stands. It sits behind The Saw’s spawn point.

Talk to the Secrets Master and pick the dialogue line about knowing a helpful secret, or the “Which boss stirs next?” prompt. He names the island where the awakened boss is currently active.

If he says Frozen Village or Yeti, go. If he names another island, the Yeti is not up yet and you will need to wait for the rotation to come back around. Awakened spawns line up with the hourly mark, so there is a natural window each hour.

Find and break the three green totems on Frozen Village

Three crystallized totems, sometimes described as green blobs or snowballs, sit scattered around the Yeti boss area. They are small, tucked into ledges and corners, and they do not always sit next to the spawn point itself. Expect to circle the area once or twice on your first attempt.

Start at the central skull structure near the Yeti spawn. The first totem sits close to it, at ground level.

Move behind the large ice structure and look up at the ledge. The second totem sits on that raised shelf, out of view from the ground.

From the second totem, scan the neighbouring ledge. The third one sits on that adjacent shelf, off to the same side.

Break each one with a sword or basic M1 attacks. A single sword works fine, and a low-level blade is enough to shatter them.

Note: the torches are the confirmation you want. If you break something and no torch lights, it was not a totem.

Beat the timer and kill the Awakened Yeti

With all three torches burning, the Awakened Yeti spawns and a roughly three-minute timer starts counting down. That clock is the real difficulty here, not the boss itself. A handful of solid hits is enough to put it down if your damage is anywhere near the island’s level range.

Killing it pays out a chunk of money along with a chance at a premium item drop. After the boss dies, go back to the Villager NPC and speak to him one more time to officially close the secret and collect the star.

You will know it registered when the world map shows the third star filled in for Frozen Village.

Why the secret does not trigger

What went wrong	Fix
No totems anywhere on the island	The rotation is not on Frozen Village. Re-check with the Secrets Master in Middle Town.
Only one or two torches lit	A totem is still standing. Sweep the ledges behind and beside the giant ice structure.
Boss spawned but despawned	The three-minute timer ran out. Break the totems again once the window is back.
Boss killed but no star	Return to the Villager NPC and talk to him to complete the turn-in.

Where this fits in the Frozen Village star count

Frozen Village carries three secrets in total, and the Awakened Yeti is the last of them. The other two are always available or weather-gated, so they are worth clearing while you wait for the boss rotation to swing back to the island.

Clearing all three fills out the island’s rating and unlocks its teleporter, which is the practical reason most players bother with the totem hunt at all. The ice-breaking secret is the one to do first since it has no conditions attached, leaving you free to camp the hourly rotation for the Yeti.
