Update 30 is the biggest change the First Sea has seen in years. It adds the Magnet fruit, rebuilds all 16 starting islands, hides 40 secrets across them, and pushes the level ceiling to 3,000. The update carries a September 5, 2026 date.
Quick answer: Clearing the hidden secrets scattered across the reworked First Sea awards “secret levels,” and finishing all of them raises your maximum level to 3,000. Completing any one secret unlocks the World Map in your HUD, which tracks how many secrets you have left on each island.
Level 3000: how secret levels work
Normal questing stops paying out once you hit the standard grinding cap. Secret levels are the way around that. There are 40 secrets spread across the First Sea, and each one you finish grants progression that regular quests no longer give you. Clear every secret in the sea and you land at level 3,000.
The secrets are not all the same thing. Some are short puzzles, some are hidden interactions, some are one-off world quests, and some are fights against awakened versions of the First Sea bosses. Every First Sea boss now has a secret awaken mode, so the ones you farmed for years behave differently when you trigger them this way.
A new Secrets Master NPC in the First Sea handles this system, and there is a dedicated tracker for it. The moment you complete your first secret, an interactive World Map appears in the HUD. It shows every island, lets you jump between them, and displays how many of an island’s three secrets you have finished.

Finishing all three secrets on an island does one more thing: it permanently unlocks that island as a teleport destination, usable from the Middle Town teleporter. The more of the First Sea you clear, the wider your fast-travel network gets. If the island still is not selectable at the teleporter, you have missed at least one of its three secrets — check the World Map entry for that island to see which.

Add to Google Preferences →Magnetic Power: the Magnet fruit’s stage system
Magnet is a Natural-type fruit built around a resource meter called Magnetic Power. You fill it by absorbing scrap that appears around you during fights. As the meter climbs, your arms visibly grow through three stages, and each stage changes how the fruit plays.
| Stage | What changes |
|---|---|
| 1 | Base M1 attacks, no automatic pull effect |
| 2 | Stronger M1s, longer combo chain, added defense, nearby enemies start getting pulled toward you |
| 3 | Highest M1 damage and combo length, best defense, wider and stronger pull radius |
Taking hits drains Magnetic Power, and enough damage near a stage threshold knocks you back down a stage. That makes spacing part of the fruit’s skill floor — you are farming scrap to climb, but standing in the wrong place undoes it.

Magnet fruit moveset
| Key | Tap | Hold |
|---|---|---|
| Z — Scrap Arsenal | Fires magnetic projectiles that drag enemies together; projectiles stack for a wider area | Channels a beam that deals bonus damage on a direct hit |
| X — Magnetic Overcharge | Traps the target inside a magnetic cage | Larger cage with more range and damage |
| C — Polarizing Drop | Yanks an opponent upward, then slams them into the ground; also works with no target grabbed | Automatically absorbs nearby scrap |
| F — Polarity Drive | Grabs an enemy and forces them to unequip their sword | Free flight; pressing F again mid-air launches a jetpack burst at an opponent |
Flight is for repositioning, not for living in the air. Several hits in a short window will knock you out of it.

Maximum Overdrive transformation (V, Mastery 75)
Pressing V at Mastery 75 turns you into a large mech fitted with jet cannons. Damage taken drops sharply while transformed, and guns become close to useless against you. Lightning is the clear counter — it deals extra damage during the transformation. X and C attacks also gain super armor, so they cannot be easily interrupted.
| Key | Transformed effect |
|---|---|
| Z | Launches guided missiles; holding fires a heavy blast |
| X | Creates a Magnetic Room that drags enemies toward the centre and punishes dashing out |
| C | Gathers nearby scrap and slams it down for large area damage; the enhanced version spins the mech like a helicopter |
| F | Still strips swords on tap; holding grants much faster travel flight |
| V | Ends the transformation, leaving behind a mech that pulls enemies in before exploding |
Magnet Event and Summer Magnet Gacha
The Magnet Event fires every hour, on the hour. Magnetic enemies spawn across the world during it, some carrying buffed magnet abilities, and killing them drops Magnet Tokens.
Tokens are spent at the Gacha Dealer on the Summer Magnet Gacha. Common fruits are excluded from the pool entirely, so every roll lands on something with value. Rolls are priced in tiers:
| Rolls | Magnet Token cost |
|---|---|
| 1 | 160 |
| 3 | 460 |
| 10 | 1,360 |
| 50 | 6,796 |
The reward pool covers accessories, two new profile backgrounds, secret rewards, and fruit skins. Named skins include Lime Blade, Topaz Diamond, Scarlet Ghost, Yellow Lightning, Starlight Gravity, Runic Fiend, and Arcsteel Magnet. Reaching the grand prize opens the Chromatic Gacha Box, which is also purchasable from the shop.

Note: the regular gacha changed too. Zioles, the Blox Fruits Gacha Dealer, has moved to Middle Town in the First Sea and still sells a random physical fruit once every two hours. Dragon East and Dragon West are now rollable from the standard pool.
First Sea rework and HUD changes
All 16 First Sea islands were rebuilt, not touched up. Pirate Village, Desert, Marine Fortress, Colosseum, Prison, Magma Village, Lower Skylands, Underwater City, and Middle Town all get denser layouts, new structures, reworked visual effects, and updated NPC and boss designs. Old leveling routes and landmark memory will not fully carry over.
The interface work is broad. NPC dialogue boxes, the loading screen, and the team selection screen are all new, and the HUD and stats menu were redesigned. Player profiles gained extra tabs, friend indicators, and a search function.

Three preview systems are worth knowing about before you spend anything. Weapon dealers let you inspect a weapon before buying, boat dealers let you look at a ship before unlocking it, and walking up to a boss shows you its drop table.
What is not confirmed yet
Magnet’s rarity, its Beli and Robux prices, and the full mastery requirements for each individual move have not been published. Treat any specific figure circulating for those as a guess. The same goes for whether older fruits receive reworks in this same patch.
The practical order of operations on day one is simple enough. Take the free early secrets to unlock the World Map, use it to plan island-by-island clears so the teleport points come online, and keep an eye on the clock so you are not mid-quest when the Magnet Event spawns.
