In Blox Monsters, the creatures you catch are sorted by region, element, and evolution stage. Each one carries a fixed pool of element skills, a starting damage and health value, and a specific place where you either find it in the wild or evolve it from a lower form. Knowing those three things lets you build a team without wasting captures.
Quick answer: Every monster can equip only 2 skills at a time, and you level up or reroll those skills at the Town. Wild monsters are tied to a region (Sunny Beach, Lava Volcano, Misty Forest), and higher stages are reached by evolving the base form.
How monster skills and evolutions work
Skills are shared within an element. A Water monster draws from the same skill set whether it is the first stage or the final evolution, and the same is true for Fire and Grass creatures. You only get two skill slots per monster, so the choice is which two from that pool to lock in.
You manage skills at the Town, where you can level them up to raise their effect or reroll them to swap in a different option. Evolution is the other lever. A monster’s damage and health jump sharply at each stage, so the same creature can move from a fragile catcher to a front-line attacker once fully evolved.

| Element | Skills |
|---|---|
| Water | TIDE (wide hit, x3 damage); WATER SLASH (x3 with a water blade); CELESTIAL DELUGE (floodwater, x5 damage); WATER CANON (x3.6); WATER SHIELD (30% damage reduction for 5 seconds); SLIPPERY SKIN (DR +20%); WATER BLADE (x4.2); BUBBE SHOOT (x3) |
| Fire | FIRE BOMBARD (x3, 100% Ignition); FLAME CHARGE (x4, 100% Ignition); FIRESNAKE (80% damage 4 times, 20% Ignition each); DEFLAGRATION (x3, triggers all Ignition); WILD FIRE (crit +50% damage, costs 5% life); FIRE SLASH (x2.5, +50% Ignition chance); FIRE METEORITE (multiple hits); LAVA PATH (x4.95) |

Note: Ignition is a damage-over-time effect that Fire skills apply. DEFLAGRATION is the payoff move, since it instantly sets off every Ignition stack you have built up.
Water monster evolution line
The Water Sprite line starts at Sunny Beach and climbs through two evolutions. Stats roughly double at each step, so Wave Sprite ends up far sturdier than the creature you first caught.
| Monster | DMG | HP | How to obtain |
|---|---|---|---|
Water Sprite | 12 | 50 | Sunny Beach |
Tide Sprite | 28 | 120 | Evolve Water Sprite |
Wave Sprite | 67 | 288 | Evolve Tide Sprite |
Fire monster evolution line
The Flame Dog line comes from Lava Volcano and has the highest top-end damage of the confirmed starters. Blast Dog reaches 103 damage at full evolution, which pairs well with the Ignition-stacking skills.

Flame Dog | 18 | 50 | Lava Volcano |
Burst Dog | 43 | 120 | Evolve Flame Dog |
Blast Dog | 103 | 288 | Evolve Burst Dog |
Grass monster evolution line
Grass creatures come from Misty Forest and lean on healing and regeneration through SUNNY HEALING and PHOTOSYNTHESIS. Seedmon and Flowermon have confirmed stats, while the later forms in this family are still being filled in.

When you are building a starter team, the three confirmed lines give you a clear pick for each role. Blast Dog is the heavy hitter, Wave Sprite holds the most balanced water stats, and the Misty Forest grass family keeps your squad alive through healing. Head to the Town to lock in two skills per monster, evolve them as their stats climb, and the TBA entries fill in as their regions and stats are added to the index.
